Without them the sweat gets in my eyes and I finally give up, because it’s too much of a hassle taking my gloves off and wiping my forehead, and then within minutes having to stop again. I’m able to continue my tasks much longer without having to stop. When I’m done I’m always surprised at how drenched the sweatband is. It does a great job.
