Pin finder is the worst ever-UPDATE! – I’ve had two range finders before that I used for golf but they didn’t have slope. I decided to buy the Blue Tees, this one, and I hate it! With the rangefinders I had before I could stand anywhere and shoot the flag and get it quickly. With this one I have to lean up against the golf cart to steady it because it will not find the flag. If it does find the flag I have to shoot at the pin three or four times and I usually get a different yardage between 3-5 yards+ each time. Cannot recommend this item.

Great to have slope data – Lightweight, accurate and priced right. For me it’s not as stable to get it on target. You need to be very sure handed when trying to get a reading. It takes several tries if there’s a lot in the background and your hand has any movement. It’s what separates the high priced units.

Does what the expensive ones do – First you will notice the materials used to build it are not of the same quality as the expensive models, but don’t be fooled. It does what is needed for the amateur golfer. Only complaint I have is that there can’t be anything behind the targeted flag.
