Works as expected – I’ve read a lot on it “could be brighter” and maybe it could be. But on the field, in the sun, rain, or clouds, I use it for soccer coaching and it is a great scratch pad. I wasn’t thrilled with the erase feature that you calibrate for lines. In the end, I use the whole page erase feature which works for me. You end up scratching and redoing so many things. But as a visual tool, I appreciate it for lineups and instruction.

This fit my needs perfectly – I was looking for a coaching board that didnt have a bunch of magnets and i didnt have to carry around dry erase markers that always seem to dry out when you need thmthem most. This is a quality board. It comes with soccer, baseball, basketball and football field templares. One push of a bymutton erases it. It is usable in the rain.

Some blue spots – I bought this for work and the football sheet seemed perfect to divide employee stations for the day. Day one of use (yesterday) I noticed that the closer you got to the edge there was some blue so I scribbled around the edges to see where it was exactly and it seems my board is damaged. Returning is a hassle so I won’t bother since the rest works just fine and I already got to break it in at work. The sheet also is only secured in 3 spots so I taped the 4th since I won’t be using other sheets.

Very happy – I’ve been searching for a Boogie board that is durable and large enough to allow serious work. For a long time, the official Boogie board only went up to 8.5-inch in size (unless you want even smaller models that are not really just toys). So I kept buying 12-inch Boogie board knockoffs made in China. All of these had the same problem, i.e. the eraser will stop working after a few days/weeks of use. I find this to be too common to be a coincidence, i.e. it probably is a major hardware defect. Finally, I found what Ive been looking for. One thing I am not digging for is the fact that the board is transparent (it’s meant to be that way so you can use different diagrams as an underlay) but I just want a black background which was not included in the package. Also the underlay papers are only held at the bottom with small sticky tapes so if you end up changing then often, I can see users keep changing tapes to prevent the papers from falling out and moving around. Wish this was handled more elegantly. But nothing is perfect and this comes very close.
