HEY DRINK TENDER MAKE MINE A DOUBLE – When ordering water bottles online you either know what you are getting by brand or past use, or you’re taking a shot in the dark. Many of these online bottles come from an unknown name brand from an unknown country. So when I ordered this 2 pack of what they call Brodys “compatible with” I expected less than fantastic results but was at least prepared for it. You know what? I am so glad I went with this hunch. These are actual Powerade bottles! I am very much impressed with the feel of quality and the thickness of the bottle walls and base. The recessed finger dips were a great idea and well done. The size is as big as you would want. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is the lid, more specifically the nipple. It doesn’t have a dedicated open or closed position. It seems like a pressure operated nozzle. Other than that you can make mine a double!

great water bottles for athletes – i got these water bottles for my swimmers – they practice almost 2 hours every day so having easy access to drinking water is a must. these are easy enough for them to squirt water into their mouths when they have a quick break before they get swimming again. they are comparable to the gatorade brand bottles as well.

Safe BPA-free Plastic – Since there is very little info here on the material of the bottles; they are made of low density polyethylene, which is chemically resistant, repels microorganisms and doesn’t leach harmful toxins when used to store food at a variety of temperatures. I especially like the large capacity of these bottles, and that one doesn’t have to bother with opening/closing them. The bottles fit tightly into the holder on the bike. My smaller hands get quite the workout squeezing, but since my husband is the one using them that’s not a problem unless he’s riding in cold temperatures. Due to the very short nozzle it’s somewhat difficult to get to the last of the water though.

Work great – I have always used the green Gatorade water bottles and never seen the Poweraid ones. We were in the market for some of these for our kids playing sports and decided to give them a shot. They work great. Just like the competitor ones. The bright blue also stands out and is more fun then the green.
