Pretty Cool for Burning Man – I am stingy with giving five stars. Trying to be more ecologically oriented as we get ready for this year’s Burning Man event. You have to light yourself up out there for safety. Don’t be a “darktard.” Going with more reusable Blinky stuff rather than throw-away. We just bought the green as well as blue. The green is definitely brighter but the blue is fine too. They are pretty darn bright in a uniform way. I have two issues to mention. First is these will not fit around that fat vase pictured in the product description. If you are very heavy or muscled they will be tight on your biceps. Second is that the lighted part could be longer. I would have preferred the lighted part to cover more of my arm. They appear to be very well made. The light output is pretty bright and interesting for using a single LED and some sort of fiber optic material. Brightest at the ends and along the borders. Nice touch is the extra batteries. The strap is cool as it is has a locking release for width adjustment. When you get yours make sure to remove the tab over the battery inside the strap so it lights up. Modes are solid and flashing. Great price for a set of two. Time will tell now well they work out in an environment that is trying to kill you but definitely like so far..

Visibilty and light weight – Worth the money easily. Comfort on the bicep is as you would expect. Find the sweet spot for your arm or it will slide to the antecubital elbow space which isn’t really an issue for me anyway. My arms are still a good size compared to my younger gym days but once properly positioned the band stays the whole run. I usually position it to the rear for viewing as car approach from behind, I am out at 5:30 am and it’s dark for many lengthy stretches. My fiance is a petite Vietnamese woman and it will wrap almost the entire circumference of her arm so it’s not a huge issue for placement for her. My blue pair came with four extra batteries which was great because one was bad already as soon as I pulled the tab. Each band requires two to work. My red pair use a different size battery and only came with two extra for some reason.

Great quality light description neglected to mention it’s not a slap Style – Great quality light very bright actually modified it to adhere to my canines harness my only complaint was that the description neglected to mention this version was not the slapstyle like it’s predecessor doesn’t came with a closed loop elastic band which was adjustable I had to cut it and remove it in order to make it work for my circumstance but otherwise no complaints

Comfortable and visible – I run in the mornings before the sun is up, before my husband leaves for work in the morning (that way he can be home with the baby). Well, the other morning, someone almost ran me and my dogs off the road (in a quiet, well lit neighborhood at 5am!). I was a little bit traumatized by it, so I ordered these and my husband went out and bought me a tank top and running shorts with high vis reflectors, and LED tags to attach to our dogs’ collars.

Must have – I got this for my husband who likes to run at night. Keeps him safe. If you walk or runs outside yu must have those.

The best for running, buying another set after 5 YEARS – I bought a pair of these 5 years ago. They still work; I’ve changed the batteries once (with the included set). They are starting to get dim so I’m ordering another pair.

Not very bright. Better than nothing i guess – I run in the neighborhood at night with some streetlighting, and I guess they kind of work if I havent been made into roadkill yet. They seem like LA lights (old Payless light shoes) brightness , which is not that bright. I’ll probably invest in something reflective.

Nice and Bright – These bands work great on a dark morning walk. However, I also wear a reflective band across my chest (like a crossing guard) because I don’t feel these are big enough to be seen by a car. I wear them more as a courtesy to other walkers so they will be able to see me coming. You can change the batteries, but they are a pain. You need a tiny Phillips screwdriver to open the battery case.
