bright orange – great for outdoor walking in the evening

Be seen is more important than seeing – This little auxiliary piece exceeded my expectations. Arrived on time. I use it when I expect my bicycling ride to end up in the dark hours. At this point I’ve placed it onto my ankle. Shows up better than I thought it would. Since my legs are moving, it draws attention to drivers, especially from the side which is an area that front/back bike lights do not address.

Running Safety – I use these everyday on my morning runs. I run before sunrise due to my work schedule, and use two sets and a waist belt that also lights up. I have a set that I put on my upper arms, and a set I put just below my knees. The adjustments are very easy to use. They are a little uncomfortable at the clamping sight when you’re putting them on bare skin, but if you’re putting over a long sleeve that irritation goes away. The elastic itself is perfectly soft, it’s just the plastic clip that tends to dig a bit. As I use them mostly in the winter as that’s when I’m running in the dark and cold this doesn’t bother me much. The B’Seen logo on these bands is also reflective. I’ve been using them for about 4 months, and haven’t yet needed to replace the batteries. Once the sun rises a bit they are not noticeably bright, so less than a headlamp would be. So if you’re wanting them for more visibility in that dusk/dawn period they may not be bright enough.

Bright and Durable. Not as bright as some, but that is a good thing. – SUMMARY:

Bright, but not easy to put on – This replaces a Velcro red arm band I had been using, buy which seemed a bit too dim. This is MUCH brighter than my old armband. BUT these bands are a pain to put on. You adjust the length of the band then slide a plastic tab into a clip. You can do this before you put them on and then try to get the band slid up your arm to the position you want it – or – you can clip it closed after you lay it on your arm. The first method involves wrestling the band up your (in my case) heavily sweatshirted arm, which ain’t easy. The latter method would work much easier if I had three arms – the one on which the band is worn and two others to hold and fasten the band.

high visibility – This provides high visibility in the dark. They are about the right size for arm bands. They can be used for ankles, but there is a lot of strap left over after tightening it flapping around. They are not the easiest to put on your upper arm, but not so difficult as to not buy them. A little elastic material would be helpful. It is possible to tighten once you have them on (once you figure it out). Overall I am happy with these.

A must have! – The only bad review I saw from past buyers is about the strap. With a little common sense, the strap is not at all an issue.
