    Exceeds expectations – I put it to use in a crowded gym refereeing a basketball game. It was heard.

    Not very loud at all – Bought these on a whim that they would be as loud as the name brand whistle. They are no where near the same loudness in fact you would be better off with a standard whistle. Don’t waste your money on these and go with the original.

    Not loud enough – I purchased this whistle for football officiating and it simply is not loud enough given the surrounding noise. It may be sufficient for other sports, just not football.

    Traffic controllers best friend – A little more high pitch than expected. But it does the job of getting the attention of drivers as I direct traffic in the noisy city streets.

Whether they are teaching the dog or the neighbors I’m not sure, but after he’s been barking for a few minutes I put in earplugs, go out and blow the whistle right after each bark. He only barks a few more times then stops.
