Perfect Gallon Water Container – I have no idea why this product doesn’t have 5 stars. I bought my first of these in about 2016 and was literally perfect. When I was looking at these reviews, I thought maybe I’d just gotten a good unit but I doubt that’s the case because I bought my second one a few months ago- it’s just as good as the first one. The only reason I had to get another is because my last one was mistakenly thrown away by someone. I only fill mine’s with water so I have 0 need to wash it in the dish washer- I put a small amount of tap water in it along with a couple of drops of dish soap and shake it- voila, clean. The construction is very durable, I’ve never had a slight thought of this thing breaking or anything. I’m currently Active Duty in a desert in the Middle East, so you can believe I’m putting it through some work every day. The cap is tethered to the mouth of the bottle so you can’t lose it (big plus for me) and is easy to screw on or just leave hanging to the side. Never had any leaking issues or anything like that. I don’t have much else to say other than I can’t give you a single reason not to get one of these.

Review after 2 months of use. – Absolutely love this gallon. Wanted to put to use before writing a review (was shipped to me Feb10; today April15). I ordered the pink gallon and came as pictured; color was exactly what I wanted!!! Has helped me maintain and (at times) exceed my daily water goal.

Durability not a strength – The bottle has a durability issue. It tends to crack. My initial order had a crack at the bottom edge when it arrived so I got a replacement. It took about a month until the same crack appeared in addition to the handle’s threading coming undone as well. If it did not crack so easily, it would have been perfect.

Cracked out of the box. – When I pulled the item out of the box it looked great. It was just what I needed and it looked like it would do the job I needed it for. Unfortunately when I filled it up, there was a crack on the bottom near where it curves, and I can’t, due to my DPO mail system overseas, return it for a replacement or refund. I would give it 4-5 stars otherwise.

Sturdy, safe plastic, no smell or taste. – Great, sturdy, easy to carry bottle. It’s durable. No plastic taste or smell. I have purchased this bottle in all colors. My favorite color is blue but this pinky purple is my least favorite. It holds a gallon of water. Cap doesn’t leak and you can’t loose it which is a plus. A good purchase.

Nice Bottle, but don’t pick up by spout – I use these to store distilled water. Quite pleased with them . . . except as I was recently filling one, I discovered there was a very large crack around the spout and down the top of the bottle. I do not know when this occurred and can only attribute it to handling the bottle by the spout at some point. I am attentive of _not_ doing so when the bottle has any liquid within, so am relatively certain the breakage took place when it was empty. This implies it is a little more flimsy than it would seem. All that said, the handle is very sturdy and I would expect picking it up by the handle will give no problem when full or empty.

The lid seems to be thin stainless steel lined with plastic, and screws on and off easily without leaking, even if I turn the bottle on its side. There is an annoying blue ribbon that attaches the lid to the bottle which gets in the way when I try to fill it, and I’m not sure how to keep the ribbon clean. The bottle is about an inch taller than a regular gallon water jug, something to keep in mind if your storage space is restrictive. I am overall satisfied and will probably buy more.
