Perfect replacement strap – After nearly 10 years, one of our original straps gave out. We feared we’d have to cobble something together, but found these.

An upgrade fro the original straps – An upgrade for the original straps with a more sturdy elastic compound use to construct these straps even if your old ones are still function but I found on long trips that original had a tendency to over stertch and snap leaving the bike at risk of falling off if I hit a severe bump , that definitely won’t happen with the upgrades

Holds bikes very well – These are great for my bike carrier. You don’t want to “over-tighten” these straps as they will break where they connect. I believe the (1) one strap that I did break was because of being too tight. It reall is not necessary to over tighten them as they hold really well.
