VERY useful stopwatch, worth every penny! – This is a great watch to have! Not only can I have it be a stopwatch (DUH!) as it states in the description, (and IS) it can display the time in either 12 or 24 hr format, and shows the day and date. Although everything I’ve previously stated can be confirmed through a cursory glance at the details mentioned on the main page, I have also found out that it is VERY easy to set time & date, day of the week, has a decently large display, and can go under my work ‘smock’, which is the reason I bought it, since where I work, from the waist up, the only things that can be ‘exposed’ to the outside, are your hands and eyes. Since the production floor is nearly devoid of all timepieces, I wanted to have something to wear that would let me know the time, but would also stay under my smock, as the wristwatch I had kept ‘peeking’ out from under my sleeve, and the supervisor told me to leave it in my locker from now on. I wear this stopwatch around my neck, and under my smock but over my shirt, since that way, all I have to do to see the time, is slightly pull apart my smock between two of the four snaps that keep it closed, and take a quick peek! I also found out one other thing, and answered my own question. Yes, you CAN turn off the hourly chime. It shows you exactly how in the instructions. BTW, I know the saying “If all else fails, read the directions” but just do it first this time; the instructions are only a leaflet, and are very easy to read and understand. (they’re not from China) So do yourself a favor, save some aggravation, and take the (about 2 minutes) time you’ll need, to read the instructions!

Great!! Love the clock feature more than I thought I would – I use this timer constantly at my work, and it’s been great! Easy to use, and I love that I can switch modes and see a clock to know the current time, WHILE keeping the stopwatch mode running. I’ve used one regularly since I purchased two in early March, and my first just died yesterday, meaning I got about 3 months of very heavy use out of it. My only wish is that it would last a little longer, but I always buy two timers at a time anyway to have an extra for when the first dies. Haven’t used in water other than when it happens to get in the way of my spray bottle, so can’t rate that properly.

Never shuts off – Basic timer and does what it should. However, there’s no way to turn it off so I guess I’ll wait for the battery to run out. Makes no sense

It’s great! – I bought this watch for my brother who needed for one of his mechanical/car road exams. He loved it and it worked efficiently and fast. Just beware that the watch does not have an on or off button. It actually comes on in the packaging with batteries in. It definitely is water resistant as he used it during an extremely rainy day and the watch worked wonderfully and still does.
