Good discus for starting throwers. Durability just not there. – This discus was purchased for a beginning thrower. Its usage was limited to primarily meets (less than 8) and was used under normal conditions. Unfortunately, the discus did not last a season as one of the plastic sides cracked with almost a complete break from the center to the outer rim. It will now have to be relegated to a backup practice discus as long as the broken plastic stays intact.

Just like high school – Very comfortable in the hand. The weight has yet to come loose as well, which I recall being an issue on my equipment in high school. I only rate this as a 3 for beginners because I wouldn’t recommend using this on your own without training or a coach. For those who know how to throw, however, great product.
