Great concept..poorly implemented – The holes that screw into the wall are not standard distance to make it into two studs. I was able to make it work (extra stability measures for two and then just super light items on the third).

Nice Shelves But Unnecessarily Difficult to Mount Properly – The three holes you use to mount each shelf are 14″ on center. Why wouldn’t you make them 16″ on center so that they can hang on standard spaced wall studs? I mean it’s for a garage, right? Who wants to use anchors when just moving the holes out another inch would have made a good sold grip possible? So instead of using their hardware I screwed two upright 2″x4″ by 3 foot long “brackets” into the existing wall studs, then attached the shelves to the 2″x4″s using the included hardware. Just a little bit of thought from the manufacturers would have made this a breeze.

Huge improvement! – Yeah check out my before and after pictures of my setup. I only use two of the three in my garage which doubles as a home gym. Going to install the other one in my son’s room. He’s the one with all the basketballs that are always laying around on the basketball floor. Not anymore! These shelves are very well built and sturdy. Comes with all the mounting hardware and I made sure that I got the mounting holes lined up with studs. I didn’t wind up using the included hooks on the sides because I already have a hook system on my wall. The color of these storage shelves is identical to my wall organizing system so it looks like it was an extension of it. I actually threw some of my other gym accessories into one of the shelves. So glad that I ordered these after reading the good reviews. The storage system exceeded my expectations and I definitely recommend it.
