Drinking Spout Recesses and Easy to Clean – I’ve used these bottles for at least five years. My favorite thing is that the spout is recessed into the top when closed; this keeps it as much as possible from being exposed to germs. Plus, you can clean the drinking spout by inserting a Q-tip. No metallic taste. Mine frequently get dropped and if it hits the floor just right, the spout will break. You can buy replacement tops for $2 by googling “New Wave Enviro Flip and Sip Replacement Tops.”

I have bought one of these before it lasted forever – So we bought a couple of these when the company first came out and started making this product. We still have the original two they’re just dinged up really bad. The top on the most recent one that I bought is moulded the same way but it doesn’t seem to be as sturdy? It opens too far and so it doesn’t work the way that it should because it lets in too much air won’t holes don’t line up between the black part and the clear part so I have to be very careful when opening it and closing it. The problem I had with the original that I had bought was that the o-ring that seals the top spigot to the body base that screws into the canister kept falling up every time I would open it it would get stuck. So I am going to assume that this time around even though the washers look different but it’s the same issue or a similar issue. It may also be an improper fit for the two parts. Other than that I really like these bottles and I will continue buying them

I’ve had this waterbottle for two years and have loved it. I’m a clumsy person and have dropped … – I’ve had this waterbottle for two years and have loved it. I’m a clumsy person and have dropped it on many occasions. My two previous stainless steel waterbottles would dent so majorly and easily that I couldn’t use them anymore. This one had withstood the many times I had dropped it… Finally, I managed to drop it from high enough that it got a big enough dent that I figured I should get a new one. It was still fully functional…no holes, no leaking…just figured for aesthetics a new one would be nice. I love that it is sturdy. The plain silver has no paint, so no complaints of chipping. The mouth is nice and wide, but I usually use the spout, which I love. And it has a loop if you want to hook it to a bag. I know there are lots of brands to choose from and lots of price ranges, but as long as this bottle is of this quality, I will continue to purchase and promote it…although hopefully I’ll not be so clumsy in the future.

Cold Drinks, Safe Water, Annoying Cap – I like the size of this bottle and that it keeps our drinks cold. You can freeze it for a little bit before you go out, too. The hole is too small to fit ice cubes in easily. I have to push each one through by running water over it at the same time. The cap is a PAIN, especially at the gym when you’re really thirsty. It’s hard to twist the cap on and off while you’re on a treadmill or elliptical machine. At least the water is safe and you’re not drinking out of a plastic bottle. This is much healthier for you and of course, we use filtered water in ours.
