Great lightweight, portable bottle – This is a great bottle; especially for traveling. My family of 4 each has one. The bottle is dishwasher safe and will fold up for easy transport. There’s also a loop that you can secure to a backpack. The bottle also fits in all cupholders. After about a year, the seal of one of our lids kept coming out, causing leakage. I contacted Nomader customer service. Not only did they send me a whole new lid for the one bottle whose seal went bad, but they sent me new lids for all 4 of our Nomader bottles! This resolved the issue immediately. It’s great to purchase from a company that stands behind their product AND has amazing customer service! Thank you Nomader.

Bought this last Christmas still good after one year…BUT – I love this collapsible bottle. It is very leak proof. Bought it last year as a Christmas gift for myself. It is perfect for travel or on my bike. However the price went up $10 since last year. I am not sure if it is worth in the $30 dollar range. Perhaps wait for the price to go down. It is still going strong after one year. No leaks.i actually came on Amazon to purchase this again for Christmas gifts, but saw the price.

Great for Travel – I purchased this bottle for my first time traveling by plane in 3 years. I’m happy to report that it survived the trip. Going through airport security, I saw a TSA official toss 3 full or mostly-full bottled drinks in the trash before grumpily reminding everyone waiting in line to dispose of their drinks before they get to the checkpoint. Sounds like some people could have used a Nomader!

Started rough, but was patient – Was looking for a water bottle that was collapsible and could take on airplanes, easy to clean, made out of food safe materials, leak proof, dishwasher safe. This checked all the boxes. Was super excited to try it and followed the instructions for soaking with boiling water and lemons. I even put baking soda. TERRIBLE. the taste was so bad, like a chemical taste. It was so strong. You couldn’t drink the water. So I soaked it again: lemon, baking soda, boiling water. STILL TERRIBLE. On a scale of 1-10, it was still a 10 on how bad it tasted. I was so disappointed. Then I tried just Dawn soap and hot water. Still bad. I contacted the company. They were very nice and suggested I try one more time. Apparently it’s very rare that the bottles still have that silicone taste. And silicone tends to absorb flavors. So I used the juice of 5 fresh lemons and stuck the lemon peels inside as well and just used hot tap water for 12 hours. Finally!!!! Now it was just a 4 out of 10 on how bad it tasted. At least it was drinkable. I did the soak one more time for 24 hours and now it’s like a 1 out of 10 where I taste the silicone chemical taste. I’m very pleased with every other feature of this bottle. It’s a shame it took so much work to get it to NOT taste bad. But it was worth it. Just significantly increase the amount of lemon and duration of the soak. I am always skeptical at how ‘food grade safe’ people claim their products to be. It is manufactured in China… I guess you have no choice but to trust that it is safe. The bad taste also makes me skeptical. But I don’t plan on using this as my every day water bottle. Overall I’m very pleased.
