Great for misting – The water bottle is good but I think the part where you drink is a bad design. I doesn’t lock in open position when you want to drink so you have to use your teeth to pull it open while you’re drinking. Unless I have a bad one thats how mine is. Otherwise it does the job of a water bottle. I wouldn’t say it keeps it cold for that long either.

Great mister and keeps water cool. – Filled it up with ice and added cold water and went for a walk on a sunny 82 degree day. Made sure not to touch the bottle or have it touch my body, just held it by the ring to make sure my body heat wouldn’t melt the ice. The ice melted after 54 minutes, but the water remained cool until I got home about 15 minutes later and the temperature was up to 87 degrees. The mister is absolutely wonderful!!

Neat idea, but didn’t last through the first three days of summer camp – My family has had mixed luck with this product. Our older son got one as a gift, as it’s been great this summer, when it’s been memorably hot here in Massachusetts due to the mist feature. On the other hand, I got one for my younger son, and the mist spray top–it sprays a little burst of water, so it’s like a Gatorade bottle and a Windex bottle in one–broke the second day he had it. Minus that mist feature, this is basically a water bottle like those you’d use while cycling, doesn’t keep water too cold, water tastes just OK.

great idea but not a cool bottle – I bought this bottle to use in my kayak when paddling on the salt water of the Puget Sound. I would like it if it had more of a spray vs a mist. On a hot day sitting inside my boat the ice melted making it almost warm water, so it was a warm water mist. It didn’t mist enough to cool me off sadly. I kept it because it will work as a back up fresh water source, but I should have returned it.
