best bag for travel but not as a carry-on – I bought this bag as a carry-on, but I went with the bigger size. That was a mistake, but it turned out okay. This actually made a pretty good checked bag with one caveat. The shoulder straps and all the zipper lanyards made for trouble with the baggage handling. That said, it took the abuse very well. An exceptionally well-made bag, but the 58.3 liter capacity is too large for a carry-on. Get the 36.8 liter bag for carry-on. It isn’t a common bag style, so it is easy to pick out. Lots of pockets and areas to stay organized on the go. The expansion really came in handy as well.

Get this bag. Don’t waste your time on cheaper ones. Expensive but worth it. – I use this bag for mountain biking — from simple quick rides on local trails to 3-day road trips and it’s worth every penny. I’ve used plain, standard duffels for years and, yes, they work, but the features of the Ogio will make you forget the cost.

Nothing to think about – If your thinking about a bag along these lines which I shall take the liberty to call a travel sports duffle/backpack, this is the best I could find. I’ve owned one since it’s inception and it has been my gym bag. I use the 9.0 version exclusively and I wore the first one out with heavy use 3-4 x per week fully loaded all compartments. I’m on my second but I have 2 new ones in reserve just in case Ogio stops manufacture of this beast of a bag. It literally does everything and above all the quality is excellent. When I buy 4 of the same items it speaks volumes of what the Endurance line has managed to achieve. Ogio don’t dare stop making this bag…please

Handy grab bag – I bought the bag for use for quick traveling and working out. It’s great to pack up a few days worth of clothes and toiletries if you are traveling. The wet compartment is good if you have wet/sweaty clothes that you don’t want soaking into your bag

Full Face MTB helmet Fits! – My TLD “Stage” full face MTB helmet fits Endurance 9.0 Bag! I purchased this bag to accommodate my large Troy Lee Designs Stage FF cross country helmet (with large visor), and it works great! (The pull-out stretch helmet holder on right side end will not fit a FF helmet).

Tries To Be A Backpack Gym Bag – This was designed as a backpack gym bag and I wasn’t paying attention to that when I bought it.

Something for everything – The number of various size compartments which will accommodate just about everything is ridiculous. I use this for cycling trips and carry a lot of gear etc. amazing gear bag!

A beast – I love this bag. Holds everything alot of pockets. Wet pockets are good but the best part of bag is able to carry like a knapsack freeing your hands to carry other things. Wellmade not cheap but worth it
