Excellent improvement on hydro flask lid – I had purchased the sipper lid from hydro flask to use with the 40 oz, as it was way easier to drink from than the standard screw on lid. Worked great for a bit, but always leaked around the seal and the corners of the flip top would get kind of nasty, hard to clean. This lid is a fantastic improvement, completely leak-proof, I love the screw-top bottle-style cap, and it even comes with a lid like the original hydro flask lid so it’s easy to carry. Highly recommend.

Some issues – I ordered black tops with black bands but I received black tops with grey bands. I just decided to keep them even though that’s not what I ordered. Aside from this, an issue with these caps is when you have ice cold liquid inside on a hot day, the condensation will work it’s way out of the spout and collect in the cap area, so when you go to open it, a good bit of water will drip out onto you or whatever is under the bottle. I work around it but it can be annoying.
