Black background makes display hard to read – I have had many Timex ironman watches over the years. Unlike all the previous watches , the display of this watch is light numbers on a back background. This display is much harder to reader than the dark numbers on light background of the previous watches I have had.

Timex Expedition watch – I really like the style and functionality of the watch. I do find the display a bit hard to read. Characters are not as bright as pictured.

Great watch, replace the strap though – The part under the strap that contacts your wrist rubs harsh since it’s a shaped corner, other than that it’s great

Exceeds expectations – I have 2 other perfectly good watches 1 a 15 year old Fossil analog Chrono and 1 5 year old Seiko analog Chrono (both weigh a ton) but wanted to go digital for an everyday knock around watch. I looked around and decided to give this Timex Expedition a try and I’m glad I did. Most important thing the price was right, I liked the look and size it’s so lightweight forget it’s there. The Blackout display does take some getting used to but so does a new pair of glasses, the Indiglo works perfect night or day. All in all this seems a good watch but only Time will tell I’ve only had it a few days so far.

Perfect BLACK strong appearance, great fit and feel! – looked at 8 different timex and other silicone banded sports watches, this was the BEST, fit feel and functions! Haven’t swapped out to wear any other watches even looks Great as evening watch! Woods watch, beach watch, exercise watch! So cheap too!
