It’s like a cup-formed coaster rather than a boot for my water bottle – Chose the one to fit over 12oz to 24oz bottles. My water bottle is 16.2 floz, which falls in the range fine, but its diameter is about 1/2 inch smaller than the product’s. Couldn’t find anything about the product diameter before placing an order to get this boot set, so just imagined that the elasticity of the boot would cover any bottles as long as the fluid once size meets in the range. Now I see the word, ‘diameter’, not in the description text, but within one of the pictures. It says the diameters 2.9 inches, probably meaning that both the boot and sleeve ring are both that size. Wish the text was in the description text as well. Looked around the house and finally found the one water bottle that has more than 2.9-inch in the diameter and the boot and sleeve just fit fine and they seem to protect the bottle fine (but I have no use of that bottle). For the ‘12oz to ’24 oz’ size, your bottle’s diameter needs to be 2.9 inches or wider.

Exactly what I needed!! – I have a 44 oz stainless steel tumbler that I love and use everyday but it is very loud and clangy every time I set it down. It does have a narrower base (about 24 oz base) but it still does not fit securely in my cupholder. I was so excited to receive this silicone boot sleeve because it has happily solved all of my tumbler woes! I ordered the 24 ounce size (even though my water bottle is 44 ounces, it just has a narrower base), and it fits perfectly!!

Not Exactly Clear – This may be a little expensive for what you get, but it does the job of protecting both your bottle and the surface you place it on. I ordered several different variations of this product, some had this “diamond” surface and others had a flatter hexagon surface. I personally prefer the flat hexagon style, mainly because of the way it looks, but also because it fits easier in a cup holder since it’s not as thick. But really, it comes down to personal preference. They both do the job.

Simple and effective! – My child kept dropping his metal bottle on the tile floor. This silicone boot was the perfect remedy. Helps for it not to slip off the tray as easily and if it does happen to fall, it cushions the impact. Less noise and less chance of cracking tiles. My bottle wasn’t even on the size chart for the ad, I just measured the diameter of the bottle and the 2.9 in was a perfect fit! So glad I got this!

Boot & band fits swell bottle as well as smaller Hydroflask bottles – It’s advertised as a bit & band for Hydroflask bottles & it certainly fits my smaller bottles. I got this for a Swell bottle that has a rougher/not smooth surface that makes it very difficult to put on & crazy difficult to remove when you use regular 2.8 inch sleeves. Normally the smoother surface Swell bottles can take the 2.8 inch sleeves pretty easily.

Works as intended. – This water bottle boot & sleeve both look and work great. They grip well to my water bottle and they don’t look childish. I have dropped my metal water bottle a couple of times in the past and it always makes that awful clang sound that many people are all too familiar with. With the boot and sleeve on, I intentionally dropped my bottle at an angle 12 inches above the floor. I was satisfied with how much the boot absorbed the initial impact and the sleeve muffled the clang from the side. There was no visible damage to my water bottle or the boot.
