Not good for outdoor use may be good indoors – I can see this working well on smooth indoor surfaces such as wooden gym floor but would not recommend for outdoor use on surfaces like concrete. Stretches more than gaff tape and is also more slippery. May be OK for short term use

I could have gone with 2” size – Color was what I was looking for. Holds on inside house doorway well. no curling. Enough to finish my project on the roll. Had a very mild chemical smell only while I was handling the roll while applying to doorway.

Good for household marking on hardwood floors – My father-in-law is staying with us and has some trouble with his eyesight. My wife was concerned that he could fall down the (hardwood) stairs in the morning due to low visibility, so she put some random tape on the floor to mark the bottom of the steps. The tape turned out to be mounting tape for picture frames and was absolutely terrible to remove from the floor. After that, I started looking for a tape meant for floors that wouldn’t damage hardwood, and this fit perfectly. (Basketball courts! Why didn’t I think of that before!)

Used to tape over joints in EVA mat foam tiles – Think of this as electrical tape for mats! It has exactly the same feel characteristis as electrical tape, except it’s much wide. I like how it’s stretchy, so that it’ll conform to the texturing on my EVA foam tile. I don’t expect this tape to prevent the tiles from being torn apart (even though I’ve tape the tiles together on both sides), — the EVA foam is very difficult for any adhesive to stick to — but it works to improve the aesthetics of the mat and reduce the risk of a trip hazard caused by unevenness across tile boundaries. There’s more than enough to tape all joints of a 3×2 2’x2′ tiles on both sides.

Minus 1 Star due to Prop 65 warning – Used in a craft project making Pokemon themed plates (pokeballs) for party decor. It worked great but it has a very strong chemical odor that turned my stomach and hurt my nose. It has a prop 65 warning on the wrapping which is not listed on the Amazon description. Had i known this, I would not have purchased it. Other than that, it’s good tape.
