Great bottle! – My son had purchased one of these bottles directly from the company. I liked his so much I tried buying one but they were sold out. I finally got my hands on one and I can see why they are highly rated. I love the look, love the easiness of carrying and it truly keeps my water cold. Keeps water and ice cold for DAYS – I fill it up with ice and refill the water several times a day. The ice will stay frozen for 3 days easy. The water stays cold for even longer. I like my water ice cold so this thing is great, I can fill it up with cold water and take a drink the next day and it’s as cold as when I put it in. I tell people this who have other hydro flasks and they laugh as if I’m full of it, but that just makes me realize how bad theirs must be for them to not even be able to fathom the possibility that what I’m saying is true. Any other hydro flask is just a cup compared to this.

It’s okay – The Coldest touts “cutting edge technology” but fails to disclose what exactly differentiates them from the dozens of other major products on the market. After receiving their bottle, I can tell you it’s probably not much. I’m guessing they’re proud of the narrow fill opening which reduces the area for potential heat transfer and the longer insulated section inside the plastic cap which helps reduce thermal transfer by keeping your liquid further below the transition between the insulated inner wall and the outer wall while also helping slow heat transfer through the cap. Interesting how they make a lot of statements about the “technology” these possess with no evidence supporting what sets their bottle from ones which are half the price such as those on Monoprice. Additionally, there’s no indication on the bottle, or packaging, regarding patents granted or applied for. I’ll wager what they’re doing is not anything significantly different from the rest, aside from the deeper cap section(white Coldest cap is pictured, showing the additional insulation over the Klean Kanteen and next to a Yeti which is approximately the same depth if insulation) The cap is food grade polypropylene which interestingly, doesn’t have a gasket unlike the Takeya which is composed of the same plastic. I prefer this to having a gasket that must be removed and cleaned (like in that one and on my Klean Kanteen), but not sure how long this seal will last– especially if sand or grit finds its way up there.

Exactly what I needed – This is a quality made product that performs at least as good as it claims… maybe better. I use it for my iced tea and by adding about 6 small ice cubes, the tea stays cold for over 24 hours. The mouth/neck of the bottle is wide enough to use a large bottle brush to thoroughly clean the insides of the bottle and a simple wipe down of the exterior gets it as clean as new. Fits perfectly in my car cup holder and all-in-all, is worth every penny I paid for it.
