Help – A safety whistle that’s not safe. Not sure how to square the circle on this product. So, what’s the problem? Well, the nylon lanyard is securely crimped and attached to the whistle’s eyelet. There’s no breakaway feature to the whistle meaning that if it got hooked or snagged on something, you wouldn’t be able to blow for help because it would be efficiently strangling you with its unbreakable nylon cord.

Safety – I bought these as a noise deterrent. While on an early morning walk with my 2 small dogs, a coyote stalked us. Shouting didn’t work. I was concerned an air horn would be impractical so I chose these whistles. They are lightweight and very loud.
