It does the job – I ordered the one specifically for Pokemon cards, so it has rounded edges. The outline of the centering tool is just a tad too small. The curves around the edges don’t line up properly, which leaves some of the card sticking out beyond the outline. We’re talking maybe a millimeter, so it’s not a huge deal, but it hasn’t lined up 100% with any card I’ve put under it, so far. I can still get nearly accurate readings from it, but I took off a star because the entire point is that accuracy.

Great Tool for Grading Cards – I purchased this card centering tool for grading my cards. It includes a card center guideline, how to use sheet, and a magnifying glass. The magnifying glass has been very useful for seeing small scratches that are hard to see under natural lighting almost stand out. I use the card centering tool for every card that I want to grade and it has not disappointed me yet. The cards that I sent into PSA to get graded got the grades that I predicted by using the card centering tool and magnifying glass, with a few exceptions being 2-3 grades off. I have recommended this to friends of mine who are also looking to for their cards graded and have even let them use the card centering tool and magnifying glass to check out some of their cards that they are now sending in to get graded. My only downside to this would be that it isn’t as user friendly as I would have hoped, but after getting used to it I now have no problems.

Not 30x Magnification – I’ve got a Carson Pocket Micro and its minimum magnification is 20x and much bigger than this which is supposed to be 30x magnification. You’re probably not going to like holding this thing either so I’d recommend getting something that can set down on a surface and still get the magnification you want or something easier to hold like the Carson Pocket products.

Great Tool for Grading Cards – I purchased this card centering tool for grading my cards. It includes a card center guideline, how to use sheet, and a magnifying glass. The magnifying glass has been very useful for seeing small scratches that are hard to see under natural lighting almost stand out. I use the card centering tool for every card that I want to grade and it has not disappointed me yet. The cards that I sent into PSA to get graded got the grades that I predicted by using the card centering tool and magnifying glass, with a few exceptions being 2-3 grades off. I have recommended this to friends of mine who are also looking to for their cards graded and have even let them use the card centering tool and magnifying glass to check out some of their cards that they are now sending in to get graded. My only downside to this would be that it isn’t as user friendly as I would have hoped, but after getting used to it I now have no problems.

Could be a great tool but needs quality on the card – Really great tool in concept. It does get the job done but could benefit from higher quality card that’s actually see thru and does let blur the card behind it.
